Power Wheelchairs

We have a full line of power wheelchairs available from Pride Mobility

In order to gain approval of your wheelchair from your insurance company, we will follow this four step guide.

1. The process starts with a face-to-face examination of your mobility needs with your Doctor. If your Physician feels that your mobility needs must be resolved with a power wheelchair, this will be supported in your medical records and a prescription will be written. A Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist may also conduct an additional assessment if your Physician deems necessary.

2. Have your physician contact Wagner Medical at 724-776-0600 as soon as your appointment is completed. We will then work with your Doctor to obtain the necessary documentation to support the appropriate model for your needs.

3. Wagner Medical will then conduct a home assessment to ensure that you have adequate access and maneuverability space within your home.

4. Once the above steps are completed, we will deliver the chair to your home and instruct you how to operate it. Delivery of your power wheel chair must be no more than 120 days following your face-to-face exam with your doctor.
